Lawn and Garden

Virginia citizens are more interested in growing their own food and caring for their personal landscape than ever before.  Virginia Cooperative Extension is committed to helping citizens know more about maintaining a healthy home environment, creating sustainable rural or urban landscapes, protecting water resources, growing a garden, and properly managing pests and wildlife. Virginia Cooperative Extension specialists, agents, and master gardener volunteers work to provide training, information, and science-based answers homeowners need.  What will make this plant grow better?  How can it be guarded against disease or insect damage?  How can we protect and improve the soil?
