
Virginia Cooperative Extension provides the latest research-based recommendations and guides the development and use of economically sound and environmentally friendly crop production practices. Virginia’s major field crops---soybeans, corn, forages, tobacco, cotton, peanuts, and small grains account for 16 percent of the state’s total farm cash receipts. With the increasing use of plants for food, fiber, feed, and fuel, Extension provides the latest research results and showcases new high value practices and sustainable opportunities.
